General Warehouse
The general warehouse employee may responsible for loading / unloading trucks, preparing product for shipping/inventory, and staging product for production.
Equipment:
– After required training warehouse employees may be required to complete some or all of the following tasks daily or when needed; forklift/ pallet jakc, pallet invertors, wrappers, and palletizers.
– Must Be able to obtain company profided forklift license unless designated as a non-driver.
Physical Demands:
– Must be able to verbally understand and execute work instructions.
– While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, walk, reach and regularly lift and or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and or move up to 70 pounds.
– Specific visiual abilities requried by this job may also include close vision, distance visiion. color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
– Read schedules, BOL’s, and/or other shipping paperwork. Remove any broken pallet pieces, straps, or other contaminants on floor in path of forklift. Fill out reqired paperwork as assigned.
Work Enviroment
– Exposures to temperatures of an average of 50°F -20°F to degrees depending on the work assignment.This exposure is in and out, not continuously.
– The employee may encounter wet floors and/or damp areas and encounter meat products includingblood/fat pieces.
Safety:
– The employee is required to follow all safety rules in place at the time of employment and encouraged to inform management of any percieved safety deficiencies.
- Starting pay: $17.00/hour
- Hours 9am – 5:30pm
