2nd Shift Warehouse Supervisor – Omaha, NE
Job Summary: Warehouse supervisor will lead an assigned team/shift throught the daily activities in the warehouse to ensure completion of assigned tasks.
Duties & Responsibilities (including but not limited to the following):
– Overseeing the daily workflow, scheduling, and organizing staff.
– Hire and train new employees and conduct performance evaluation.
– Conduct discipline and termination and follow all safety and companty policies.
– Responsible for quality and productivity of the shift.
– Collaborate & communicate with other shift team members.
– Problem solving & innovating thinking towards improvements.
Equipment:
– After required training the warehouse supervisor will be required to complete some or all of the following tasks daily or when needed; forklift/pallet jack, pallet invertors, wrappers, and palletizers.
– Must be able to obtain company provided FL license.
Physical Demands:
– Must be able to verbally understand and execute work instructions.
– While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly be required to stand, walk, reach, and may regularly lift and or move up to 50 punds and occasionally lift and or move up to 70 pounds.
– Specific visual abilities required by this job may also include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
– Read schedules, BOL’s, and/or other shippingh paperwork. Remove any broken pallet pieces, straps, or other contaminants on floor in path of forklift. Fill out required paperwork as assigned.
Work Enviroment:
– Exposure to temperatures of an average of 50°F – 20°F, depending on the work assignement.
-This exposure is in and out, not continously.
– The employee may encounter wet floors and/or damp areas and encounter meat products including blood/fat pieces.
Safety:
– The employee is required to follow all safety rules in place at the time of employment and encouraged to inform management of any perceived safety deficiencies.
Pay $26 – $28/hr depending on experience.
Hours 2pm – 12am
