FSQA SUPERVISOR
The FSQA Supervisor must be flexible and able to adjusts work procedures/hours to meet testing schedules, production needs, and customer requests including all facility audits.
The employee must be able to apply mathematical skills to include and not be limited to addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Practical use of computer programs such as Microsoft Office.
The following is a list of responsibilities of the FSQA Supervisor but is not intended to be an all-inclusive list as assignments may vary.
o Reviewing and filing all daily paperwork.
o Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of all associated procedures, forms, policies, and records.
o Ensure the facility complies with all Government and outside auditing agency guidelines.
o Prepare and give training as needed and cover for all reporting positions as needed.
o Communicate to co-workers, customers, vendors, and suppliers in a timely accurate manner.
o Execute all plant audits including preparation, maintaining, and record keeping.
o Manage time and responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Equipment:
- After required training general employees may be required to complete some or all of the following tasks daily or when needed; metal detectors, knife use, 2-way radios, thermometers, knives, fat testing equipment, and electric conveyors.
Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, fingers to grip, talk and hear.
- The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee is required to use their sense of smell during the working shift and pre-Operational inspections.
- The employee must regularly lift and or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific visual abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
- Exposures to temperatures of an average of 38 to 28 degrees depending on the work assignment.
- The employee may encounter wet floors, damp areas, and meat(blood, fat) during the work shift.

- The employee is required to follow all safety rules in place at the time of employment and encouraged to inform management of any perceived safety deficiencies.
